Opening Speech Outline
This is an outline of the first speech that you will make during Formal Debate (known as the Speaker´s List). It should take approximately 90 seconds to complete and it is basically a summary of your position and provides possible ideas for resolutions.
Be sure to use clear, concise language – you only have 90 seconds to fit everything in! Practice your speech at home to make sure it is the right length and that you use good public speaking skills.
